Welcome to the Halifax Football Website.

The purpose of this site is to provide all the details of the community based Tackle and Flag Football programs taking place in the HRM communities of Herring Cove, Purcell's Cove, Spryfield, Armdale, Fairview, Clayton Park, Rockingham and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Halifax Football is in need of administrative volunteers to come forward and help direct the Association as it moves into the 2012 year. If you are interested please contact Adrienne Bowers at adrienneinns@yahoo.ca. Without new volunteers for 2012 the future of Halifax Football is in jeopardy.

Jesse Mills started playing football for the peewee Argos and has been a success ever since. Jacob Leblanc was a force with the Halifax Hornets of the NSVFL and took his game to new heights in the AUS.

all three teams playing in Provincial finals came up short at the FNS Provincial Championships in November.

The Board of Directors for the Halifax Gridiron Football Association will be meeting to wrap up the 2011 year.

The Raiders storm into the Peewee Tier 1 Finals on Sunday Nov 20th.

The Halifax Redhawks were given a birth in the Tier 2 finals when Cape Breton forfeited their Semi final game.

For the second year in a row, Halifax atoms will play in the provincial final.

The playoffs are set in minor football. Follow the Halifax teams in their quests for Provincial titles.

A cold and windy night left and only 48 hours rest left the Argos vulnerable to the Dartmouth Destroyers Black.

For the second time this season the Argos had their game cancelled due to poor field conditions.

Redhawks tame Panthers
