Fall NSMFA Football

As members of the NSMFL, Halifax Football competes at all levels striving to field three teams in each age group. One of our goal is to field a 12 aside program in each of our communities in each of the NSMFA age groups. In the event of insufficient player registrations we may enter teams into the "less than 12 league" with the NSMFA. 

In 2011 Halifax Football will field 2 Bantam teams - The Halifax Chargers will represent the Halifax Penninsula area while the Halifax Redhawks will represent the Mainland Halifax region. There will be one team at each of the other levels for the 2011 season - Atom, PeeWee and Mites.

All programs within the Halifax Football family follow the Sport Canadaand Football Canada Long Term Athlete Development Principles. Our hope is to work with youth and teach them the life long love of the game of football.

Halifax Football supports rule modifications to traditional concepts of Tackle Football in order to better serve the development of youth football players. Below will be links to rule modifications by age group as they are developed by Football Canada, Football Nova Scotia and the NSMFL.
